Additional Techniques

The following are additional techniques which can potentially positively alter time perception.

Bonus Hack #1: “Tomorrow is…”

The “Tomorrow is” hack is simply a forward looking way of referring to days by concentrating on the day after.

If it is Wednesday for example, instead of thinking:

“Today is Wednesday”

You train yourself to think:

“Tomorrow is Thursday”

This is just as true a statement, but it modifies your perception by bringing the future day closer to the present– making the end of the week seem that much closer.

Adding to the Kairos Calendar

You could combine this technique with the Kairos Calendar to supercharge it, and on Wednesday when you’d usually highlight WED:

You could highlight THUR instead:

Saying to yourself, after all, “Tomorrow is Thursday…”
